Role Overview

The Demand and Engagement Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Executive teams to support Accolade’s mission of reinventing the healthcare experience and delighting members. This individual will work across the Demand Generation and Engagement Marketing team to assist in marketing reporting, member program development, sales assets promotion, event promotion, website customization, and campaign execution.

A Day in the Life

Accolade Marketing Coordinators have excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal). They should be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, exhibit strong time management skills and the aptitude to work comfortably within a wide variety of team situations. The successful candidate will be dynamic and flexible – they must be able to handle numerous projects simultaneously and the demands of a deadline-driven function.


Specific responsibilities include:

Demand Generation Support/Management:

  • Coordinate integrated Salesforce campaign execution by pulling lists, cleaning and importing data, and creating and cloning campaigns.
  • Create marketing and sales email templates to support campaigns and events.
  • Create digital asset landing pages on website to support new programs and upcoming events.
  • Maintain social accounts and monitor paid social program execution.

Member Engagement:

  • Manage and compile graphic files as needed, and maintain creative libraries and various document repositories.

  • Support departmental operations, such as entering/cataloging vendor invoices, creating production timelines, and supporting the event planning/execution process for customer (employer) events.
  • Manage creative/tchotchke inventory on internal marketing stream portal.
  • Help with creating and proofing collateral pieces, direct mail and advertisements.


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business/Marketing/Communications, Design or technology-related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on marketing or business initiatives or campaigns, whether in school or in a business environment
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of email marketing system concepts
  • Experience around marketing automation or email marketing tools
  • Intermediate knowledge with reporting tools: Excel/Tableau/Qlik/Google Analytics
  • Understanding of web content management systems Wordpress or other
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects across the marketing function
  • Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email (Outlook) skills
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment and/or Business to Business role is a plus


Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of program conversion, results and ROI
  • Understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Familiar with project task system/AtTask/JIRA/Highrise
  • Proven ability to roll up your sleeves and make a contribution quickly; adaptive to changing array of priorities
  • Passion for specific marketing and/or business functions that support a directed growth path
