Role Overview

As a Member Engagement Marketing Intern, you will be partnering with the marketing and market development teams to expand our account based marketing efforts. You will work to bring marketing campaigns to life, identifying appropriate channel opportunities, developing program elements and measuring success.

A Day in the Life

Key Projects, Deliverables & Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to Marketing activities such as building sales kits, coordinating event details, coordinating creative development, etc.  
  • Responsible for compiling/managing graphic files as needed, and maintaining creative libraries and various document repositories
  • Maintain strong and effective relationships with vendor partners. Coordinate project details, production timelines, cost estimates and final deliverables.
  • Work with internal data systems to extract mail files, analyze campaign results, and prep initial results for internal/customer presentations
  • Manage all aspects of campaign operations, including list management and segmentation, email creation and distribution, dynamic content and scripting, and deliverability monitoring
  • Conduct secondary research on competition and marketplace and compile into profiles for use by multiple departments
  • Assist with gathering and maintaining a database of client testimonials
  • Help with creating and proofing collateral pieces, direct mail and advertisements


Key Knowledge, Skills, or Qualities:

Ideal qualified candidates are eager to learn multi-channel marketing approaches. Be interested in marketing operations, user experience, conversion optimization and marketing technology.  Individuals who have a willingness and drive to learn, experiment with tactics love diving into results will succeed in this role. Below are skills, knowledge and abilities that ideal candidates possess: 


  • Marketing, Business, Operations, Advertising, or Communications Major

  • Experience as an intern at another company or other similar roles / projects in college
  • Solid project management skills, strict attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email (Outlook) skills; proficient in any of the following is nice to have: Adobe CS6; knowledge of Google Analytics/similar web analysis tools; knowledge of, CMS and bulk email systems
