This role is responsible for executing the marketing and sales strategies necessary to grow profitable and sustainable membership.
Support RFP and/or Sales Process:
o Design and prepare reports of sales activities and status, update reports regularly, in a timely and accurate manner
o Prepare and update management reports on a timely basis inclusive of current status and win/loss trends. Update regularly in a timely and accurate manner
o Assist in the preparation and update of client presentations for meetings with Sales prospects. Maintain and update accurately as product and sales positioning evolve.
o Conduct Background research on prospects
o Compile competitive info on opportunities
o Pre-screen RFIs and RFPs
o Coordinate SME meetings and prospect site visits
o Contact prospect organizations as needed, and coordinate meetings and exchange of required information
o Liaison to external stakeholders as requested by sales team
§ Interface with consultants/ outside contacts
§ RFP contact on questions and data needs
o Liaison to proposal writers and SMEs
o Coordinate references
Maintain Accurate and timely information in the SalesforceSystem on current, future and closed opportunities.
Support enterprise initiatives
· Sharing of best practices and successful sales strategies with peers
· State surveillance for targeted states as assigned. Monitor other sources of RFP intakes as assigned. Coordinate with centralized resource
· Support sales planning process and setting of annual sales goals
· Support segmentation / target identification strategies
Coordinate with marketing on the delivery and data management of a direct marketing strategy to targeted prospects. This would require interfacing with potential prospects as a follow-up function to the direct marketing strategy
Coordinate or independently complete special projects according to manager’s general instructions. May assist manager or other staff members with more complex and detailed projects.
Participate in additional sales related activities at the direction of the VP of Sales and the SVP of Sales
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Ability to work within a fast-paced, time sensitive, precise and results-oriented environment.
Attention to detail
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent computer skills with special emphasis on advanced Excel & PowerPoint capabilities. Ability to influence individuals, not under your direct control, to perform at peak performance levels.
Familiarity with Salesforce application
Proficient with Microsoft Office software
